Upward Soccer

We spent every Saturday morning in September and October on the Upward field. Belle seemed to really enjoy soccer this season, and she definitely took the game more seriously than last year. Leaving some of her timidness behind, she always ran with the ball even if she was leery of the bigger kids. Although she wasn't the star player, she always left feeling accomplished. Her coach was really great about emphasizing Christ-like behavior, good sportsmanship and effort over ability. Two of her good friends were on her team and she had a big cheering section of family each week! She got a trophy and had a blast at the end of the season party! Aside from the bad weather and terrible bugs, we couldn't have asked for a better season!
