After spreading out the flannel I had selected as our background, I tasked Belle with thinking up something silly we could do for a picture in the Valentines outfits Grammie had given the kids. She immediately came up with "love flops." While Belle and John had a blast falling backwards onto the bed and yelling "love flop," I got a few quick and easy pictures. Of course, I couldn't get all three of my children in one frame because I had to keep James away from the excitement, which entailed tumbling, hugging, martial arts, and lots of giggling.
Later, Belle enjoyed setting up a Valentines backdrop to take a picture of Hamilton and me. Usually, Hamilton is not very tolerate of having his picture taken, but he found our little photographer quite amusing and obliged her. Once again we had fun taking a few pictures and got some cute images. Win-Win!
