Sent Belle to put away her laundry, and she took forever to return. When I came to check on her, she was in the middle of creating some dividers so her drawer would be more organized.
I really do not like the smell of dog food, so the kids are responsible for feeding Nina. I didn't realize how frequently Hamilton asks if they remembered to feed the dog until one morning they were eating breakfast on the porch waiting for him to come home from work, and Belle made a sign answering the question before he asked it. I also smile at the extra bowls of dog food sometimes in the container. According to Belle, they are Nina's "freezer meals," for when she is in a hurry! HA!
Belle has been in charge of recycling duty for several years, but I am about to turn over the job to John. Lately, the little princess likes to stash most of the recycle in her room for inventions and hardly any actually makes it to the street.
My sweet John helping pack daddy's breakfast tacos and cleaning up after himself! He loves to say "I am a hard worker!"
One of Belle's jobs is putting away the silverware. The other day, little Miss asked if I would please put the silverware into the basket sorted so she would have an easier time putting it away. She even demonstrated what she would like done. I am glad she is thinking while she is working, but I haven't obliged.
